Respect, awe, and curiosity for the human experience has led me along a fascinating journey of anatomy, spirit, patience, and play. Beginning with my own need for something new, the healing practices I offer are the same that have helped me to soothe my nervous system, uncover patterns, befriend chronic pain, and express my feelings vulnerably and mindfully. They are the ones that have helped me explore my reality, hopes, dreams, grief, and body. They have connected me with others, with nature, and with myself. It is an ongoing process of learning and sharing and it's my deepest gratitude to be able to be on this part of the journey with you.
Cutting Hill Road
The home quarters of Love, Play, Grow is nestled in a renovated School House from the 1860s on 1.73 acres of flowers and forest. Our entrance is marked by the semi-circle driveway leading to a door with a blue tapestry. We have two friendly cats, Franklin and George, who some times like to pop in the session for a snuggle or hello. Melissa and Sean enjoy hosting guests, retreats, and game nights here throughout the year while balancing it out with quiet time around the wood stove, crafting, reading, and learning from nature.
Sean is a self taught chef specializing in plant based offerings. His delicious and creative meals grace our retreats and trainings. Trained in Food Safety and inspired by his own dietary restrictions, Sean's creations always reflect a consideration of dietary preferences and needs while supplying flavor and fun through food. His good nature and general handiwork can be found in many of the details that keep our Whiting location supported and nourished.
